Questions for the PMC Lite People
We have a decision to make. There are 26 players in this series.
I have a way to make an easy puzzle out of the clues, so that each of you can have a different clue and there are no duplicates. That way every single cache must be found.
I can do that or I can do the whole duplicate clue thing. If we do it that way, I will probably do the coords in this format:
North AB CD.EFG
West HIJ KL.MNO
If I do it that way there will be definitely duplicate clues. 11 of them to be exact. It could be fun because a seeker would be trying to figure out where clues may be, but they wouldn't have to get all the caches in the series.
There is also the option of putting "dummy" clues out there. Something in the cache that says, "No clue here" or something. That could be fun as well. Then most would have to be found, but the chance would be that someone could get the final cache coords before finding all the caches.
I am leaving this up to you guys. But I would like to be ready to put this together by the end of next week.
I am probably going to scout out locations for the final tomorrow.

Re: Questions for the PMC Lite People
Agh! No dummy clues, please! That would be the kiss of death for a cache.
I like the idea of duplicate clues. Let's make the whole series easy enough for people to do. Easier puzzles, easier to get the final cache. Anyone who wants to do the entire series might get something extra... I can't think of what.
Some people may not be able to get to certain caches, so making a "get 'em all" requirement would disappoint many of those who would want to participate.
I know I won't be getting them all. I can't even keep up with all the caches in my locale.

We could do both and have two final caches...that way if you do all 26 you will get two final caches, but you can also just do the easier one.

For PMC Lite, I like duplicate clues, and 1 final cache.

Questions for the PMC Lite People
Could you provide us with a number of PMC Lite Puzzles Caches you anticipate that would be in each state. To find all caches might involve lots of travel which might turn off many of the final seachers. Right now I myself still have the NJ Delorme challenge, the NJ County Challenge, and the SJCC and the NJCC. This might help in making choice of dummy clues or duplicate clues.

Re: Questions for the PMC Lite People
PS There was (is?) a little puzzle cache that uses duplicate clues in Northern VA. No real puzzle, just collecting part of the coords from the CO's other caches - but you didn't know which caches held which part of the coords, or even which caches had a coord digit. It was fun reading the logs and trying to figure out which caches needed to be found.

Linky link
Here is a link to the map Billy. There are two new players added because Delaware was a little short on participants. There was a whole in the middle of the map. As it stands there seem to be 2 in Maryland, 3 in Delaware 2 in NY, 6 or 7 in Pennsylvania and the rest in NJ. Then the final which will most likely be near Philly. Hope this helps.
